jinasphinxA neat example of rapid transit created with a small budget and no big dig, from the Brazilian city of Curitiba.
The no-replacement option for the Highway 99 viaduct is gaining favor, mainly because money talks (the city can't afford a tunnel). I have no idea if redistributing traffic would work, but it would be such a cool thing to get a waterfront with more public spaces, and more transit options too.
