Last night at Target, I saw the most frightening thing I have ever seen while shopping: click at your own risk. I can't imagine who would buy this for their house. It was even scarier than the Hello Kitty toilet lid cover. And whoever this person is who buys this stuff, do they decorate the entire bathroom this way? Make it a theme? So you stumble into the bathroom at 6 a.m. bleary-eyed and half-asleep, and brightly colored, googly-eyed cartoon characters jump out at you? That's one way to wake up, but I prefer coffee.

heh

People told me that having a child would change my life. My response ranged from an irritataed duh to something along the lines of, it had better.

Children are _really_ going to change your life. Not that you'll be buying Sponge Bob or Hello Kitty. But you will be wandering somewhere in your house at 6 a.m., bleary eyed, and look at what you've spent good money on and be appalled.

Well, maybe it will have been a gift, and someone else spent good money on it. That always feels a little better.
